MARCH FORWARD VIII Tick Tock!

I couldn’t believe it was already 4am when I heard the sound of my alarm. I wanted to stand up, but the sweet caress of my bed just wouldn’t let me.

As I dismissed the alarm and turned to the other side of my bed, I recalled the work I wanted to concoct that morning. As if an ant bite my buttocks, I jumped up and told my bed, ‘see you in the night.’

As onerous as it might be to yield to the beckoning of time, it is the most profitable. The beauty of attaining a feat lies more in attaining it in its time.

We must wake up to the consciousness of attaching something to every moment. A man who is conscious of time is conscious of life. Every moment will begin to count to you when you begin to make time count.

Many people are waiting for time, forgetting that time will not lift a finger, but it’s what we do with time that determines what will move with time.

It might take time, but it will take more than time. I don’t argue that it’s a matter of time, but a matter will only remain as it is or get worst if no move is made on time.

Life is a process and processes lies in life. Only the things that go through its processes come out whole and stand the test of time.

Some achievements demand waiting. You might knock on a door for months and even years. In the process, several people will show you other fish to fry, but you must not allow them to terminate your chance to wait and enjoy what lies in the door you want to access. You must learn that it is understanding time to know when you are in your waiting season.

Running ahead of time is disastrous, as it is the easiest way for a man to dig his own grave with his own hands.

Haste is not the same as speed. Doing what you need to do proactively and in the consciousness of time guarantees speed. But, it is not speed if you omit a process; it is being in a haste.

Unnecessary haste sponsor unsafe landing. Every process you jump because you’re in a haste will eventually affect your outcome.

Yet, moving behind time is embarking on a life wasting journey. You’ll be dazed when you open your eyes to find out that the little boy you knew yesterday is already ahead.

Time is a gift designed to be a lift if only we learn to maximize it. The prime of life is not a time to joke with, use it well.

Time is like a dime. If you maximize each second, it is potent enough to become a lot.

Someone is somewhere sitting and lamenting that it is too late to start when possibilities lie in every moment. Someone is saying I will start tomorrow what he can start today, forgetting that tomorroe is the reflection of today.

Like each hour waits for the preceding hour to be unraveled, he who waits for his time, his hour will definitely come and his season shall be seasoned.

You might still be tasting bitterness, but that does not mean sweetness does not lie in a bitter leaf; it is only that the season has not yet come.

As the count of each second usher in the breaking of the day, so will your daily minute effort usher in the breaking of your dawn. Worry not if you’re in your night season, only don’t stop marching, the day will soon break.

See to it, no second must go without something attached to it. Wait for your time, but don’t while away time. Take a step at a time, but you must not deliver lesser than your capacity at a time.

Move, time is always on the move. Spend every moment in the consciousness of time.

Every tick tock marks a progression; every choice, every decision, every step you take, be sure it is a forward march.

Keep Marching Forward!
